Valley of the Moon

It has been quite awhile since I have posted here. I am still photographing the natural beauty that surrounds me and here is a collage of the beautiful Valley of the Moon.  I am sure that Jack London was inspired by the natural beauty that surrounded him in the Valley of the Moon.

When I first came here, tired of cities and people, I settled down on a little farm...130 acres of the most beautiful, primitive land to be found in California. . . all I wanted was a quiet place in the country to write and loaf in and get out of nature that something which we all need, only the most of us don't know it.  Jack London

When I see the Red-shouldered hawk, I feel
singled-out. It is extraordinarily special to see such
majestic beauty . . . then in a blink-of-the-eye—gone.

I know your spirit has sent a
magical message to me.

There are many nesting birds at the Ninth Street Rookery in Santa Rosa, CA.  I just love the Egrets.

My early morning walks near Annadel State Park in California, allow me to photograph the wildlife. . .I captured these fawn twins with my Nikon 300mm lens.
