A Baby Boomer's Lament

Life is like riding a bicycle - in order to keep your balance, you must keep moving.
~Albert Einstein
A metaphor for the journey through life of any living thing: Consider a woman riding a bicycle. Whoever she is, we can say three things about her. We know she got on the bicycle and started to move. We know that at some point she will stop and get off. Most important of all, we know that if at any point between the beginning and the end of her journey she stops moving and does not get off the bicycle she will fall off it. That is a metaphor for the journey through life of any living thing, and I think of any society of living things. ~William Golding (adapted)

I used to have a Schwinn just like this one. . .I wonder where it ended up?
